worldwide), when does it occur (seasonal?), how much does it occur. In which populations does
it occur? What factors of the bacteria influence the epidemiology (eg is it spread by ticks)? What
are the reservoirs of infection, if any? Is it a notifiable disease? Remember this is epidemiology I
want to see numbers, graphs and trends. This is different from the pathogenicity essay. Here you
are talking about who and where not what and how. You are encouraged to include graphs and
