I. Read Lab Manual (pp. 25 – 36; except 35)
Complete page 37. For this, you will need to do a Google search on the cells required. Select the
best image, draw 3-5 cells and then label the required structures. You will find the names of the
structures in your textbook (chapter 3) and/or in your lecture notes. Note: you need to find blood
cells and sperm cells from both human and frog: type in “human blood cells” and “frog blood cells”.

Interactive Cell Models – Plant/Animal. Click on “Start the Animation”. Click on the names at the
bottom, observe where they are and what they do. Below, list the names of 10 structures and their
functions. Check if each structure chosen is shared by both animal and plant cell or by only one of
the two types of cell.
Submit this assignment by either filling in the boxes in the present file (e.g. Adobe Acrobat),
replicating the table on a separate file or photographing your handwritten work.
