For this assignment you will spend some time imagining what it would be like to have an
object recognition disorder. This will provide an opportunity for you to think more deeply
about and share your reflections about a topic we’ve discussed in class.
You should choose two different times during which you will spend 10-15 minutes
engaging in your normal activities (i.e. in class, in a social setting, spending time with
family members) but taking note of how your experience would be different if you had
one of these disorders. For the first experience you will imagine that you have
prosopagnosia and for the second experience you will imagine that you have
apperceptive agnosia in which you can recognize faces but not other objects. Then
answer the questions below.
Situation 1, in which you spend 10-15 minutes “experiencing” prosopagnosia
a. Describe what you were doing during this 10-15 minute time period. (1 point)
