Introduction:

Extensive introduction inline with the more substantical research report. The Introduction should lead to particular topic of enquiry, it should establish the scope, content & significance of the research being conducted by summarizing the current understanding, background information about the topic, purpose of the work, research problem, explain briefly the Methodological approache used to examine the research problem, highlight the potential outcomes your study can reveal and outline the remaining strucutre and organization of the paper.

Introduction should also cover, What was i studying? Why was this topic important to investigate? what did we know about this topic before i did this study,? how will this study advance new knowledge or new ways of understanding?

Also summarize the prior studies about the topic, explain the gaps in the literature, insufficient consideration of the topic, or other deficiency in the literature. Structure of introduction should be an inverted triangle of information that lays foundation to understand the research problem,
Organize the information to present the more general aspect of the topic early in the introduction. Narrow your analysis to more specific topical information that provides context finally arrive at your research problem and the rational for studying it whenever possible, a description of the potential outcomes your study can reveal. Identify a research niche by opposing, revealing a gap, formulating a research question and outing the key characteristics of your study, describing important results and giving a brief overview of the structure of the paper.
