Introduction
The plays main character is Prince Hamlet who is son to the deceased king, nephew to King Claudius who succeeded his brother and hurriedly married Gertrude. From the play we learn that many deaths have occurred but the most vocal is that of King Hamlet that his son mourns for a long period. It opens with the guards trying to convince Horatio that they had observed King Hamlets spirit. Hearing this Hamlet longs to see it by himself, the same night it appears to him and reveals to him that, it is Claudius who murdered him and did that by pouring poison in his ear. During the conversation the Ghost demands Hamlet to take revenge. He agree but not really certain of the Ghosts trustworthiness and thus remains not persuaded by the information that he had been given (William, S, and Thomas, T, pg6)
