Guns, Germs and Steel is a book attempting to give justifications why other regions more so Eurasian and North Africa are more civilized than other regions in the world. The book was written by Jared Diamond; a physiologist and evolutionary biologist as he pointed the role of cultural differences in shaping individuals history. To justify to his theory, Diamond gives the book a title to how the agricultural societies dominated and maintained their dominance throughout the societies. For instance, Guns has been used to refer to the military superiority Eurasian had over others, Germs refers to the Eurasian diseases which weakened the local population hence could not resist and lastly, Steel refers to the central government with promoted their nationalism.
