For this week s journal I would like you to choose a documen.
For this week s journal I would like you to choose a documentary film related to politics in general and the course content in particular, watch it, reflect on it, and tie it into the course content (to the extent that you can). The film must be at least one hour long and it must relate to the course content. I would prefer that you choose one that you have not already seen before, but I can t control that obviously. It should probably go without saying, but you are not allowed to review a film that has already been assigned for this course. There are probably hundreds of films that would work for this assignment, but I would like you to clear your film with me first. Please just send me a short Canvas message with a link to a description of the film that you would like to watch for this journal. I ve pasted some links to free shorter films that you you don t have to clear with me first that you might be interested in: Bannon s War (Links to an external site.)Links to an external site. (from Frontline)Poverty, Politics, and Profit (Links to an external site.)Links to an external site. (from Frontline)American Patriot: Inside the Armed Uprising Against the Federal Government (Links to an external site.)Links to an external site. (from Frontline)White Like Me (Links to an external site.)Links to an external site. You are free to choose a different film, but again you have to clear it with me first. I will happily clear films up through Friday at which point you should just do one of the films above. Please let me know if you have any questions.
