You may find yourself drawn to several different art forms. It may be difficult to narrow your selection down to just one art form and, from that art form, to pick a specific work of art around which you craft your Final Project. It may help you to make a choice by remembering that a response to art is an emotional response. What art form resonates most emphatically and most movingly with you? Use this emotional response as a guide when you select your work of art.

Final Project Milestone 2: Select the art form and, within that art form, the specific work of art that you investigate and explore for your Final Project.

In Week 1, you identified a local exhibition, event, presentation, or production of an art form that you could attend by the end of Week 4 of this course. In Week 2, you select the art form and, within that art form, the specific work of art that you investigate and explore for your Final Project. (The Week 1 and Week 2 Final Project Milestones constitute the basis of your Final Project).

Complete your Final Project Milestone 2 on the worksheet provided and save it. Support your assertions by making at least two documented references to your course readings, following examples in the “Common Reference List Examples” link in this week’s Learning Resources.
