It is easy to understand the Renaissance as being caused by a single thing, but for this discussion, consider the multiple factors that contributed to the creation of Renaissance culture and society. Pick 1 of the following factors and describe how it contributed to the the rise of Renaissance culture and society: 1) the fourteenth century disasters; 2) geography and urban environments; 3) Italian political structures and conflict; 4) trade, commercialism, and wealth; 5) literature and ideas. Pick a historical figure relevant to the Protestant Reformation (for example, Zwingli, Calvin, Luther, King Henry VIII, a specific pope, a specific ruler or king, etc.) from Chapter 13 and construct a Fakebook as if they had one. Use real historical events important to their life and the Reformation.
Make fake facebook page using Fakebook that illustrates your topic. (see examples below)

You do not necessarily have to use this tool, you can use any free fake facebook template out there (Word, Prezi, whatever). Include a minimum of 10 relevant historical event posts, and for each event include 1-2 comments or likes by relevant historical person/countries/subjects. When complete, copy/paste the link to your Fakebook into a discussion board post by Saturday, 11:59 p.m. If you have technical problems with Fakebook, please post your questions to the discussion board so we can help each other.
Hint: Make your Fakebook on a piece of paper first, then type into the Fakebook program. This can be a tricky program to use, so take your time and engage with your peers for help.
