Concert Report #2
You are required to attend at least two live concerts during the semester. (Concert Report #1 and Concert Report #2) These concerts contextualize topics discussed in class and they are an important opportunity for you to experience live music up-close and in-person. You may attend any concert or musical theater/ballet performance of your choosing. The Mason Gross calendar of on-campus events can be found here:
http://www.masongross.rutgers.edu/calendar
Assignment:
Attend two concerts of your choosing.
Save a copy of the concert program, and upload it to Sakai as a scan or picture.
Write a short reflection paper (Word 97-2003 .doc) about the concert (300-400 words). Be specific: What pieces on the program did you find interesting? Why? What aspects of the concert experience were the most unexpected? What could have improved the experience for you? What specific topics covered in class intersected with elements of the concert?
