At the end of such a thorough course, it is expected that you will be able to critique your peers’ work in the area. In addition, you should be able to integrate the material learned throughout this course into a capstone project presentation. At the end of this week, you are required to do both.

This is a capstone project for this course. It provides evidence not only of cumulative knowledge gathered, but illustrates critical thinking skills. It also allows you to exercise your ability to conduct research and to present a research paper written in APA format.

• Review the Final Project Guidelines, review rough draft feedback from your professor, and make your revisions and edits to polish your final draft of your Final Project.
• To achieve maximum points for content and analysis, the following elements need thoroughly addressed:
  • Clarity of Purpose–Initially presents the topic in a way that explains what you will discuss. In other words, set up the topic and draw in the reader with a clear introductory paragraph including a thesis statement that summarizes the purpose of your paper.
  • Integration and appropriate use of terms–As a general rule, your paper must contain at least 10 terms from your text with appropriate citations in APA format.
  • Critical Thinking–Demonstrate critical thinking in relation to your topic. This means presenting both sides of the topic when applicable.
  • Integration–Integrate the topic into your own worldview.
  • Syntax—Organize your words and phrases in academic structures.
  • Provide at least five academic resources from scholarly, peer-reviewed journals.
