Calista worked part time as a barista at Bayview in St. Petersburg while attending the University of South Florida full time. As part of her final project for a degree in information technology, Calista designed a computer program that provided the fastest and most economical routes for delivery drivers. The program also tracked the locations of drivers. Calista called the program Fast Route & Tracker (FRT). The program was designed to be used by any type of delivery service and not just the food industry.
