Arguementive Essay You will write in your discipline for professional purposes—something you will likely encounter after graduation or even earlier. I expect your final draft to be error-free and polished. The final product will be clear, concise, cohesive, logical and interesting! Your first step will be to locate a professional journal in your field and read several of the articles. This will help you understand the requirements of publishing in your field. Your paper needs to argue/take a side on a debatable issue in your discipline. Do not choose an OLD topic in your field. What is currently being discussed? Requirements for all students, regardless of Option A or B is selected: you may use either APA or MLA but must be consistent.  NO FOOTNOTES! You must use in-text citation!  Sources may include books, journal articles, and newspaper articles (if appropriate).  Only 4 Internet sources are permitted; the rest must be professional journals and publications accessed from the library databases. Caution: you must use professional journals and publications. More than the 4 allowed Internet sources will invalidate the paper and the project will earn a zero Header on p. 1, in-text citations, Works Cited page (or APA if you choose).
