Alcoholics Anonymous Paper Rubric

Due: End of Business of the Following Week’s Clinical Date

Think about what you experienced during the Alcoholics Anonymous meeting, you recently attended.  Identify an area of focus that has piqued your interest.  Pose a “why” question regarding that content area and provide a brief discussion of it in your paper.  Your discussion does not necessarily have to be the answer to the why; it may be a discussion as to why you would like that question answered. This exercise will provide “food for thought”, as you explore addiction and mental health issues throughout this quarter.  Include when you attended the meeting, where and what time.  Try to answer that important therapeutic question of “how did the meeting make you feel?

Your paper should be two (2) to three (3) pages in length, typed in APA format.  There should also be a title page and a reference page (Not part of the actual paper).  There should be a minimum of two (2) citations included in your paper.  All citations must be recent (Within the past five (5) years).  The paper is pass/fail, so there are no points associated with it.  It is however, a requirement of this course.  The actual rubric in on the reverse of this sheet.
