Read the State v. Ulvinen case on pages 134-136 (136-138 in 4th ed) of our textbook and then answer discussion questions 1, 2 and 3 at the end (on page 136).

How do those facts compare to what the mom did in the Ulvinen case? Should the result of the two cases be the same or different?
