Your instructor must sign off on the contract below before you can start on your project.
You will design and develop a complete program of your choice, that involves a substantial amount
of work (i.e. is more complicated than any of the individual programming assignments in this course,
combined). Some random examples include: a utility/tool to compute some needed information, a video
game, a persistent editable “database of information, a bank account ATM simulation, an encrypter/de-
crypter of files, an RPG player creator / stat generator, a tool that visualizes some complex data, a study
tool, a simplified version of a project you intend to develop as a senior, etc.
Requirements:
The project must be more complicated than all programming assignments in this course, combined.
The project must utilize GUI elements (JavaFX or Swing).
The project must read at least some data from a file.
The project must contain at least 2 custom classes and 10 custom methods.
Submission
All submissions are to Blackboard (you can submit multiple times).
You will submit the following:
A copy of your contract signed by both parties (you and teacher)
Your entire IntelliJ IDEA project as a zip file
And perform the following:
A presentation in class demoing and explaining your program
