Research Step 5

I’m trying to study for my English course and I need some help to understand this question.

It consists of offering 7 new sources (they can’t have been previously used in Step 4) in MLA Bibliographic format and then writing notes from them. This research step, like Step 4, is some of the “writing” we do for our research paper. It is highly likely, provided that the assignment is completed in the spirit in which it is intended, that you will be able to copy and paste notes from these pages into your finished research project.

Instructions:

For each of the 7 sources, you will do the following:

1. Bibliographically cite the source using MLA citation rules.
2. Offer “notes” in one of the following forms:

• quotes
• paraphrases
• summaries

3. Give parenthetical citations after each “note.”

NOTES: Remember to do the following task when compiling your list:

• use a hanging indent if the citations fall onto the second line;
