Your sources might include academic journals, professional magazines, other printed periodicals, books (i.e. your text!!), or possibly the Internet. For examples of acceptable sources, see the End notes in your text. Note on references/sources from the Internet: Do not, I repeat, DO NOT limit your sources to Google searches. While the Internet can provide quick access to loads of information, not all of what you’ll find is considered reliable. For those sources you do take from the Internet, be sure to include the author’s name and the date the material was published in your source citation. (If you cannot find this information, I suggest the material may not be credible!) Students who nonetheless limit their research to internet-based sources will diminish their score by at least one letter grade. If in doubt, ask me to approve your sources. When I grade papers, I am favorably influenced by any trace of original thought! Include personal opinion in your paper in addition to research. Personalize it! Consider this a requirement of the paper. Estimated length of paper: 10-15 pages of text (References and a Table of Contents are in addition to the 10-15 estimated pages. By the way, References and a Table of Contents are required components of your paper!!)
