The characteristics or features mainly describe an Extrovert person such peoples possess
within themselves. Therefore, extrovert peoples are the peoples who are always described as
being talkative, sociable, action-oriented, enthusiastic, friendly to every person they associate
with and always out-going peoples (Farrell, 2017). On the other hand, an introvert person
possesses some qualities or features of a personality kind recognized as inwardness which simply
means that such peoples tend to feel more relaxed focusing on their inner opinions and ideas,
relatively than what is occurring externally. Nevertheless, introvert’s peoples enjoy spending time
with just one or two individuals rather than large clusters or crowds. The use of the terms
introverts and extrovert became used by one of psychologists, and such two personality forms
tend to sort peoples regarding the way they get or spend their energy (Farrell, 2017). Thus, this
essay paper focuses on or addresses the pros and cons of falling into the extrovert type of
personality versus being an introvert.
Moreover, one of the advantages of extrovert personality is that the extroverts enjoy
spending time with other colleagues or peoples they associate with (Farrell, 2017). Nevertheless,
extrovert’s kind of personality usually is outward-bound and love to work in groups. Also, while
free-associating, they love to work together and talk out loud. The more time the extrovert

brainstorming ideas individually will definitely help such a person think more freely and without
fear of other associates’ judgments.
Despite both the extrovert’s ad introverts possessing various pros, such two types of
personality also have some cons attached to them. The cons associated with extroverts include
lack of independence and grit by such peoples, who might occasionally come across as harsh and
aggressive or controlling and tend to be more arrogant (Farrell, 2017). Also, another con is that
the extrovert peoples may often be unable to make analytical, emotionless judgement and tend to
value too high the validation of other peoples they associate with. On the other hand, there are
various cons that are linked to people who possess an introvert type of personality. One of the
disadvantages is that introvert people are always labelled as weird as well as snobbish hence
have something to hide. Such an aspect identifies them as selfish peoples. Another con associated
with introvert peoples is that they do not get party invitations as they may end up being forgotten
by their fellows, or they tend to take themselves out of the mix (Farrell, 2017).
In conclusion, other cons linked to the introvert type of personality include, tend to
experience more challenging time standing out on social media; they also tend to struggle a lot in
terms of the expansion of their networks. They are always overshadowed in work settings,
especially when it comes to any form of group project.
