The target community which the mental health counseling agency will serve is from Port Saint Lucie, Florida. Port St Lucie has a wide and diverse population in terms of culture and ethnicity with about 11.945 of the population speaking native languages with more than 170, 000 residents. Unemployment rate stand at 12.5% and is deemed to increase with 2.5% due to lack of employment growth which stands at 0%. This city economic growth is stagnant which earned the region the title disaster zone coupled with several hurricane tragic incidences. Statistically Port St Lucie city per capita income household income during the last four years has been $18,059 which makes nearly 20% of the population to be below poverty line
