How NCBL (General Education and Special Education Reform) Has Affected the Relationship between Parents and Teachers
Initially the parent involvement in the education of his/her child was not pronounced in the law as it is today. Therefore, after NCLB (No Child Left behind Act) was enacted in 2002, the law requires parent to be fully involved in the education process (Ballou& Springer, 2011). In quest of knowing whether the parents understand their roles in education through parent involvement, we interviewed several parents and came up with following findings.
