Introduction
The paper is going to highlight on the liberation theology, and highlight on the advantages and disadvantages encountered during the implementation of the different forms of the liberation theology that is expressed in three different forms that are political, economical and social.
The definition of the liberation theology; liberation theology is movement in the Catholic Church practices, that derives its teachings form Jesus Christ teachings (Petrella, 2004). These teachings are in relation to liberating the poor and oppressed from the unjust political, economical and social conditions. It is noted that Jesus advocated for equality in the society and thus he was against the harsh treatment and oppression that the poor and less privileged were going through and thus he stood as their defender (Sigmund, 1990).
