Im working on a Film exercise and need support.
1) choose any piece of Korean films, drama, TV shows, webtoon series, etc. that represent one or more issues of contemporary Korean society that we discussed. Dont use films watched in the class.; 2) explain why you choose it with regard to your choice of issue(s); 3) discuss, analyze and interpret the piece by using your readings, which is also introduced in the class. You can examine how they are interrelated, connected or conflicted against each other. Your essay will be graded for its content(30%), writing style(20%) and application of themes discussed in class and readings(50%). It should not be a mere repetition presented by the instructor but rather you should develop your own ideas. In order to complete this essay, students must use at least two (for 200 level) or three (for 400 level) different readings. Length of essay should be 3 – 5 pages for 295, 5 – 7 pages for 495, and all should be typed (Font size 12) and double-spaced.
