Introduction
Patient information dates as far as the Hippocratic Oath itself. The prospect of a physician breaking a promise to keep the patient information is quite sure to bring about a week long debate. However, it is important to note that this tradition is not so good because sometimes the physician may keep information that could be vital in helping the patient. This is what has led to the development of jurisdictions that extend the need of confidential information and how this information can be used.
