forces and military operations to the North.

the left descending bank, the river forms the border between Maryland and Washington, D.C.
On the right side, the river borders West Virginia and Virginia.

channels of approach lead to an area of operations (A.O.). The Urban region where the river
borders Quantico town will permit easy movement up-the-stream.

Situation Enemy
Insurgent forces (IF) have been operating a Command, Control, and Communications (C3)
node and keeping weapons caches in the banks of Potomac River. IF have enjoyed liberty
throughout Quantico town. IF enjoy the liberty of movement along Quantico Creek. The
insurgents are expected to pursue an optional channel of approach into the Potomac River
region, through Independent Hill defend the C3 node and weapons cache. An alighted enemy
battalion occupied the Southeast area of Quantico with seeking backing from the residents.
Reports indicate that they are armed with 240B, M249, and M16s. The insurgents are
reported to exist in three groups and have their specialized uniform that may make then
invisible at night. Once invaded, they can seek reinforcement from other squads that access
their bases using Potomac River within 20 minutes. The reinforcement is likely to come from
Quantico Creek. They may reiterate with a bigger force, but we will break the reinforcement
if we engage them decisively. Multiple wire barriers all-through the defensive positions laid,
tripwire triggered during any time of the invasion.

Capabilities and Restrictions: The insurgents can protect in place, undertake delay, or
withdraw. They can also reinforce or counterattack with an organic unit or counterattack with
a weapon cache located downstream at Independent Hill with six hours.
Leader (IL): I anticipate the IF will guard in place and try to defeat the attack with numerous
direct fires at the barrier and make us combat multiple successive positions.

quick defense is initiated.
