Community Project MRI
Planning
The main objective of planning in any given project is to create a sense of order, thus easier management. A well planned project will include both short-term and long term goals/objectives. It will also allow the team undertaking the project to make the necessary theoretical adjustments before undertaking taking the practical work (Baird et al., 2005). Investigating a disease that is either common or uncommon in the community requires the integration of a number of resources. One of the areas requiring precise planning is the budget pertaining to the project. Another aim/objective of planning is ensuring that a most accurate budget is made for accurate speculations. An over/underestimated budget shows lack of proper managerial skills. However, it would be favorable if there was an overestimate that an underestimate. Doing the research, incorporating ways of handling the disease and carrying it as a long-term project require proper planning even in the budgeting sector. Another objective of planning is that it allows the involved team to find other areas that need concentration (Baird et al., 2005). For example, the team may find out that more time should be allocated in assessing a group in the community (e.g. children) as compared to the adults in as far as the disease in question is concerned.
