Discussion Overview: This week you will get the chance to test your product/service idea on other people. If you’re able to have a mock-up or prototype of your product – great! If not, that’s okay, too. This week is just the start of your idea testing. You can test one or both of your ideas. Don’t prompt your testers by offering a sales pitch. Just present your idea/product to them and ask them what they think about it. You can prompt for further information, such as:
1. Please explain your comment further
2. What might make it better (even if they say they love it)
3. How much would you pay for it
Discussion Directions: Test your idea on at least 10 different people this week. Seek feedback from a variety of people (different ages, backgrounds, etc.) so that you have a wide-range of feedback. Compile your responses in a report and post the results on the discussion. Include your plan to incorporate the feedback.
