These instructions tell you to make a poster please ignore that I will do that part of this assessment myself. Your task is to write 500 words in relation to young people and the pains of imprisonment. Make
sure you are relating this to Australia NSW and no other country. Follow and read my instructions properly before starting, I have had a lot of issues with writers not following my instructions and were returned
for revision many times, I do not have time to return this for revision so follow my instructions from the beginning and there should be no problems. Do not plagiarise this is very important that you DONT. Also
do not forget to reference the work and add a reference list in the end. The maximum words you can write are 550 words. MAKE SURE YOU USE MY ARTICLES THAT I WILL PROVIDE TO YOU IF
YOU DONT THEN YOU HAVE FAILED TO FOLLOW MY INSTRUCTIONS.
You will need to:
Use a minimum of three scholarly sources (e.g. Journal articles, book chapters and respected government websites). I will attach two articles that you MUST use. So you will need to find ONE of your own
scholarly source. So 3 in total to be used or more of your own if you insist.
You must acknowledge the ideas of others, reference direct quotes properly using the Harvard referencing system.
Viewpoints need to be substantiated using relevant literature, empirical evidence, and convincing argumentation.
ASSESSMENT INSTRUCTIONS:
For this assessment you are to imagine that NSW PCYCs and Youth Action (the peak organisation representing young people and youth services in NSW) are holding a poster competition. They are
concerned that punitive (punishment focused) responses to governing young people in NSW is having a net ‘widening effect that is seeing more and more young people come in contact with the criminal justice
system. They would like to draw public, police and private security attention to the special needs of young people as citizens in progress.
Your task is to produce a 500 word explanation that addresses the following theme:
Young people and the pains of imprisonment
This is not exactly an essay but It is short answer response, so it should have an introduction and conclusion. However, unlike an essay these will not be as detailed. They should be very brief. The introduction
would set the context for the issue/theme you will explore and the conclusion rather than summarising the arguments discussed will make a strong concluding statement about the issue.
