– Find something in today’s culture that you see is a mixing of two cultures that produces a unique (third) blend which has elements of both. This will require some research, so make sure to quote and cite appropriately.

– Do research and talk about the aspect of culture.

– Discuss how your subject is based on each culture and how they create this third blend. I would like it to be some aspect of culture- mainly an art movement or something aesthetic (not a critique of a holiday like Cinco de Mayo)

– an example would be the phenomenon of “Kalbi Taco Trucks” as something unique to Los Angeles. I see this as developing based on a blend a few things

– first the car culture of LA due to how populated and geographically large our city is

– second, the large percentage of latin americans who are native to LA and the wonderful influence of latin american culture on the overall mainstream US culture
