According to Jean Watson theory of transpersonal caring which s holistically known as the theory of human caring or also the caring model that was developed in 1979, articulate that nursing is a constant changing profession, which requires intensified responsibility and workloads so as to preserve the caring practice assigned to them. Dr. Watson theory has evolved over the years however the basic premise aligned with it has remained the same over these years. Dr. Watson theory emphasizes on the humanistic facets of nursing that are mixed with scientific knowledge. The main purpose for Dr. Watson development of this theory was to usher in the significance and focus to the practice of nursing as a divergent health profession. The rationale behind Dr. Watson theory as stated by Parker and Smith (2010) is to allow the readers and nurses to embrace back the deep professional roots and values, which generally honored the epitome of the ideal nurse.
