Review Two shows (English Language!) that have a medical theme of your choice. NOTE : The shows may be found on You Tube, Hulu, Netflix, or on official network sites (for example, Grey’s Anatomy, ER, Chicago Med, Good Doctor, Nurse Jackie, M*A*S*H*, The Resident, New Amsterdam). 3. Look for scenes that are dense with Medical jargon (for example doctors doing rounds, doctors/nurses discussing patient conditions and status, EMTs reporting into an Emergency Department). 4. For EACH show: Provide (in a Word document): Write an introductory paragraph describing the show Identify at least 10 medical terms from each show (10 terms X 2 shows= 20) Use highlights, underline and numbering of the terms to make it easier for the reader to understand Define each medical term Describe the scenario in which each term is used and include the terms and definitions State whether the medical term was used correctly or not Give a more correct medical term if it was used incorrectly 5. Reflect on what you learned from this assignment.
