Theories of Criminal Behavior – Armin Weiwes Research Paper Based on a case study on either Armin or Colonel, prepare a 10-12 page research paper. (See instructions attached for outline). Research paper should include minimum of 18 Scholarly Sources and must be APA cited. All THREE parts are outlined in the instruction attached. The instructor changed the requirements so do not worry about the 18 – 24 pages. It just needs to be between 10 – 12 pages not including cover page, abstract and table of content and reference page. This research paper has three main components to it. First, you will discuss your chosen topic. Provide a
comprehensive review of the subject’s life history, starting from birth to arrest and be sure to identify
criminogensis. This section will likely include a number of non-scholarly sources and should be about 5-6 pages
in length. Next (secondly), from the perspective of biocriminology, explain the biological correlates of behavior
your subject displayed. From the most basic presumption, explain through biological criminology the theoretical
reasons for his behavior (4-5 pages). Third, turn to social criminology. How does social criminology attempt to
explain your subject’s behavior? Be sure that you address the quadratic intersection of time, space (ecology),
victim, and offender during your bio- and socio-criminogenic discussion (4-5 pages). End with an effective
conclusion as discussed in the rubric.
This paper is to be at least 18 pages in length, but no more than 24 pages. The length does not include the cover
page, abstract, or reference pages. You must have a minimum of 18 scholarly sources as defined in the syllabus.
Remember, these are peer-reviewed journal articles within the last five years. Turn your paper in to me during
class and submit a digital copy to Blackboard. Due in class on April 5, 2019. I will enable Blackboard to accept
multiple “practices” for you to submit to in order to check for plagiarism. Despite my every effort to convey this,
I will do so again anyway. Every semester I catch a plagiarizer. When I do catch one, the punishment can
