Since the non- digital era, right to freedom of speech and communication has been in existence. Freedom of speech and communication is the right of an individual to freely express an opinion or idea. This freedom of speech and communication is not totally in equality across the world, different countries have a limitation of this right according to the set rules and regulations. These set rules and regulations constitute the laws of different states in the world. In some states individuals are not free to exercise the right to freedom of speech; such are countries that are authoritarian, where policies such as censorship are applied. In other countries citizens have the right to freely express themselves thus fully expressing the right to freedom of speech and communications.
