Writing mechanics demonstrate AMA writing style that is adhered to regarding spelling, grammar, punctuation and presentation. This is a scholarly paper that is well written in a professional format. The paper will be a minimum of 10 pages (including title page and references).

A title page is expected. An abstract is optional. The writing style of the American Medical Association (AMA) is used accurately and consistently for in-text citations and references. You must provide a citation for ideas or words that are not originally yours. The work must be supported by a minimum of eight (8) scholarly (peer-reviewed) references from previous annotated bibliography assignments that are appropriately cited throughout the paper and numerically referenced at the end of the work on a separate reference page. There are no references included in the work that are not cited within the body of the paper. The paper and its references are double spaced with 1-inch margins and done in 12-point Times New Roman font.
