Instructions

Write a well-written 5-7 page research paper comparing and contrasting a human sexuality topic in the US and in another country.  You must get prior approval before your paper will be accepted.  You will be required to use at least 5 research sources to support your paper.  Your paper must follow APA format.  Remember, a research paper should be full of research facts not opinions.  Each fact needs to be cited, do not cite an entire paragraph with one in text citation.

4. Polygamy in the US and China

Format guidelines:

• 12 font
• Double spaced
• Be conscious of how many paragraphs you use. A paragraph should not go on and on…  do not use only 1 paragraph on each page!!  Break up your page into MANY paragraphs.
• 1” margins on all sides
• Your title page is NOT “page 1”. Your final reference/bibliography page does not have a page number.
• Any page less than ¾ full will not be considered a full page
• If you do not use in- text citations or you do not provide an adequate amount of research your paper will be returned and you will not receive credit, remember this is a research assignment
• Points will be deducted for the use of too many quotes for your in- text citations—at the college level you should be able to rephrase quotes by using your own words.
• You cannot use your textbook as 1 of your 5 sources. You can use it as an extra source.
• Wikipedia is not a valid resource. Be sure to include journal articles, research studies. Use websites that end in “.edu”, “.org”, not “.com”
