For this assignment, you will watch the video below (be sure to take good notes). Then you will write an MLA formated, reflection paper that discusses the form and content, and more specifically the media choices Kara Walker made in her work “Katastwof Karavan” (Links to an external site.) ; a calliope, installation, and performance piece. You will examine the artwork and explain how it reflects the purpose of commemorating a historical event. Finally, rate the value of this artwork, and justify your opinion. MLA Format Requirements The paper must be 1 1/2 to 2 pages in length, this does not include images. Must include a works cited page. Must include one image of the work being discussed in your reflection paper.
