Eye witness testimonies are often used as deciding factor in many criminal cases. Eyewitness testimonies are the accounts given in courtrooms describing the event of the crime under investigation. To do so witness are given a chance to give their points of view and involved in the identification of the culprit. The credibility of the process of eyewitness has been question by psychologist claiming that individual perception and memories are unreliable due to several reasons such as being altered, manipulated and biased.
