However, the corporate social responsibility and the ethics regarding the health of individuals remain paramount. For this reason, pharmaceutical companies have a responsibility to distribute drugs for free or at low cost in developing countries. This is driven by the humanitarian aspect of the companies and the state of affairs in the developing countries. The people in those countries do not have the ability to purchase the drugs and it would only be human to provide drugs within their reach. Despite other people arguing that all drugs should be sold at the same price to all regions, they forget some are economically empowered than others
