Peer Review

Description

Please write a brief (one-page) peer-review of the attached draft paper, to be shared with the author, along with my comments.  Submit your review on Blackboard by 11:59 PM Thursday, Mar 11.  Your review should not be concerned with grammar and syntax, unless you need to comment on the way this interferes with understanding the paper.  Please focus on whether the paper uses higher order (Blooms) approaches to discuss the implications of the combined messages from the papers they have selected.  Your peer-review mostly concerns the author’s ability to synthesize information from multiple sources and develop a thesis that goes beyond the individual sources (section A of the rubric).  Did they go beyond reporting what the papers say and do some synthesis, expressing their own perspective that they have developed from comparing and contrasting the papers?  Can you clearly understand the thesis they are developing with evidence from the various sources they have collected?
