Rogerian Therapy what i found is a Person Centered Therapy. This therapy is based on Roger’s belief that every human strives for and has the capacity to fulfill his or hers own pontential. I like this approach because this can make a person who suffers from mental illness strive. Teaches them that they are worth something in this world, and that things will get better.
I like that approach as well. I do believe that it is within each person to stay focused and achieve all goals in life. it’s all about the way you think and how you react to your problems. The impossible is always possible if you set your mind to it. If a therapist can take the Person Centered Therapy approach and teach an individual techniques on how to think differently then a person with mental illness will strive. Rogers strongly believed that in order for a client’s condition to improve therapists should be warm, genuine and understanding (McLeod, 2019).
