Motivating Ethical Behavior In The Workplace Business Research Paper Please follow all instruction. Be plagiarism free and original. Issue Paper Each student will choose a topic, with the approval of the facilitator, for an issue paper. This
topic must concern an ethical issue faced by modern organizations (suggested topics are provided
below).
1. Employer rights to read employee e-mail
2. Reporting structures of employees if employees are dating or married
3. Employees who are forced to do volunteer work, even if on company time
4. Employers who can now discriminate against hiring employees for issues like smoking, obesity,
religious beliefs, etc.
5. Analyze leadership abilities from any individual (family or a political/military leader, etc.)
6. Employers who specifically keep work hours low enough so the employee can’t qualify for benefits
7. Promoting employees on favor or merit rather than ability The issue should be clearly addressed from
both points of view and in an unbiased manner, after which the student should critically assess the
theoretical and practical applications that might be applied. At least one ethical theory must be
addressed as part of this paper, and at least one solution must be provided to the issue. Students should
use information from at least five outside (academic) sources in completing the paper. The paper should
be a minimum of eight typewritten pages in length (double-spaced) excluding the title and reference
pages, and follow APA formatting guidelines. The paper should exhibit Master’s level research and
writing skills. Grades will be a direct reflection of the quality of the subject matter, critical analysis,
spelling, grammar, clarity, the quality and supportive effectiveness of the outside resources used.
