MEDIA LAW MULTIPLE PUBLICATION RULE vs defmation Act

1. In the United Kingdom, the Defamation Act 2013 (UK) has recently been passed which, inter alia, replaces the multiple publication rule with a single publication rule in that jurisdiction. Should Australia also be considering law reform in this area in your opinion? In your answer, you should consider some of the difficulties the multiple publication rule creates for defamation law in an online, compared with an offline, context.
