Description
Now it is your turn to choose a real-world problem about which you feel passionate, and to research then present a solid proposal for how this problem might be solved. The issue you choose might be global, such as poaching in wild land reserves or excessive plastic waste in the ocean, or it could be national, such as decreased funding for the arts in American schools. It may also be a local issue like the need for better public transportation in Akron, or the lack of homeless shelters in Northeast Ohio. It could even be campus-related, such as healthier dining options, or community-based, such as your personal wish for more social options for elders at a nearby assisted living center, or safer helmets for your children’s school football team. Whatever you choose, choose something that interests you or that you care about.
