Answer: For management to be effective, it must first be involved in maintaining the financial stability of the hospitals. Major strategic goals should be initiated in promoting, improving and protecting the health of the ones in a certain specific district and also expedite the independence of people with disabilities in a given area (Harris, 2006). The hospital is not expected to give back profits to the authorities who govern it especially in hospitals of the government, since they are expected to operate in certain fixed budgets. Suppose the boards are selected so as to oversee the management of hospitals, they are supposed to be responsible for attaining non financial goals like the promotion of independent populations and health they oversee. Again, they are also expected in carrying out disability and health needs of the people in the regions and manage the resources available as required (Perera, 2011).
