The patient Mrs. Elli Baker exhibited an increase in her heart rate and pulse. This is an indication that there were disruptions as to her homeostatic mechanisms tasked with maintaining balance towards a normal pulse rate and breathing rate. In aIDition this is also exhibited her blood pressure that is illustrated by her increased heartbeat and pulse rate aimed at eliminating the carbon accumulated in the blood. This is also exhibited by an increased breathing rate relative to her heartbeat (Brodie, & Richardson, 2005).
