Description
Each student is to write a 10-page paper on the history of social work and the settlement house movement. The topics below are to be used to help you formulate your paper. You may include more, but you have to cover the topics listed at the very least. Please use the headings in bold to help you outline your paper. Papers are to be completed in the APA format, which includes a cover sheet, running head, abstract, double spaced, and a reference page. The paper should be at least ten pages long including the cover page, abstract and the reference page. The body of the paper will consist of 7 FULL pages. References will include at least two books, two journals, and two internet sources. Wikipedia cannot be used as a reference. You may use more, but you must include the aforementioned minimum of references. Papers should be sited according to the American Psychological Association (APA) format. Papers should be spell checked and grammatically correct. Late papers will be subject to a loss of one letter grade for each day late. Papers will not be accepted via e-mail. The paper must be submitted via Canvas prior to class on the date determined on the syllabus. This paper will be worth 40 points.
