Historical Theory Application

– historical management theories. These include theories from three historical movements: Classical movement (ie: Taylor’s scientific management, Weber’s Bureaucracy, Fayol’s administrative principles), Human relations movement (ie: McGregor’s Theory X and Theory Y, Mayo’s Hawthorne Studies, and Follett’s Organizations as Communities), and Contemporary perspectives (systems perspective, situational perspective, contingency perspective and interactional perspectives).
