Order Description

1-The hero receives a call or summons. May be an event, a message inner feeling- something that prompts hero to learn of the adventure. May be unwanted or sought by hero.
2-Fear to answer the call. Second thoughts, or an initial resistance and lack of desire to set out.
3-Steps into an unknown world: leaves ordinary or comfortable existence- to a different world or some different plane of existence.
4-Meets a wise advisor -Meet up with an individual who offer guidance and help. The role of mentor or advisor is one of the most interesting characters in literature.
5-Test of the hero; encounters allies and makes enemies:hero is challenged in a variety of ways.
There may be just one test, or there may be several challenges and roadblocks
6-reaches inmost cave:Hero reaches place where he will find what he seeks. It may literally be a cave or hiIDen place. What he seeks may more metaphorical or symbolic.
7-supreme ordeal: Greatest test facing the hero- fighting the dragon, evil, the archenemy.
8-Sizes the sword: hero takes possession of the "sword" or item he has come in search of
9-Road back: hero begins the journey back home taking the "sword" or knowledge with him.
10-Resurrection-tested one more time: one final test-often involving near death experience and then seeming rebirth to a new self,a new outlook.
11-Shares the elixer with others: Arriving back home, hero will share the item or knowledge,the treasure, with others.
