Preparation

To prepare for this assignment, students must:

• review your notes from the last workshop/meeting where you wrote down the thoughts and recommendations offered by your team members after you finished presenting your research
• review the meeting summaries from your last meeting, and read the revision recommendations made by each team member

Purpose

The communication assignments in this course aim to develop communication skills that students will need in their professional lives. Students will study, analyze, and synthesize information and research through independent and group learning contexts, and will use both oral and written communication to do this work. Through these assignments, students will develop skills that will help them excel in their professional endeavors. Targeted skills include: argumentation; analysis; organization; presentation skills; and small group and interpersonal communication skills.

Overview

Revise your handout according to the feedback you got from your group. Incorporate additional citations for new sources that you may have included in your expert report revision.

Write a revision summary (100 word minimum) that details the revisions you made to your handout. You will include information such as recommendations and feedback that you took into account, questions that you addressed, new charts and figures that you may have added (or charts and figures you changed) and additional research that you may have conducted.

You will upload your new handout in two ways:

1. Upload your new handout and your old handout to this assignment. (Both are needed to see updates)
2. Upload your new handout to your group discussion board so that your team members have access to it.
