Discuss how those who enter the courtroom as “innocent until proven guilty” may not be recognized as such. Identify and discuss the five characteristics of a group. Would you consider the member of a football team a group? Why or why not? How is assimilation different from multiculturalism? Do you believe multiculturalism is more prominent within society than assimilation? Why or why not? Describe the verbal communication process and note how miscommunication occurs.
